VastaaPoistaAccording to the ministry, on the first Sunday of each month from November 1 to March 31, entry to state-owned archaeological sites, historical sites, monuments, and museums is free for all visitors. This measure also applies on specific dates throughout the year, including:

– April 18: International Day for Monuments and Sites
– May 18: International Museum Day
– Last weekend of September: European Heritage Days
– October 28: National Anniversary of No (Ohi Day)It is important to note that the Acropolis Museum follows a modified version of this rule. As a result, entry is not free on the first Sunday of each month during winter, and the following dates also differ:
– March 6: Melina Mercouri Memorial Day
– March 25: Greek National Independence Day
– May 18: International Museum Day
– October 28: National Anniversary of No (Ohi Day)
– European Heritage Days: Applies partially on the last weekend of September, subject to the Board of Directors’ decision.
